Abstract

In the current industrial scenario, there is a need to minimize operator discomfort by exposing and educating people to new technologies. This greatly reduces time and cost on the whole. Virtual reality helps meet organizational needs by depicting an environment picturing very close to reality.
This project compares and analyzes data both in the virtual and real environments. Participants performed palletizing experiments in the virtual world and data has been collected. Participants then performed the same experiment in the real environment and data was collected along with participants completing presence questionnaires.
